Bridgemen Alumni Association NewsDecember 20, 2011
Mark Teofilo Bridgmen Snare Dummer (1980-83): Mark passed as a result of an apparent heart attack at Flushing Hospital in Queens, New York on Saturday, December 17th. Mark was a snare drummer in the Emerald Cadets and was a member of the remarkable Bridgemen drumlines 0f 1980-82. He was a teacher at St. Francis Prep High School at the time of his death. On behalf of the Bridgemen Hall Of Fame committee, it is with GREAT pleasure for me to announce the Bridgemen Hall Of Fame class of 2011. The inductees are:
Please join me in congratulating this GREAT class of people who have made a difference with our corps. The Hall Of Fame dinner will be held on March 17th, 2012 at St.Andrews. It will follow the Bridgemen Alumni Association's Memorial Mass. More details to follow. On Saturday, November 12th, the Bridgemen held elctions for three board members. John Nadrowski was elected as a representative for the 1960's, Nancy DuCharme was elected as a representative for the 1970's, George Lavelle was elected as a representative for the 1970's and Donna Gulino was elected as a representative for the 2000's. In addition, Claire Edmonds-Kronenfeld was elected Alumni Association President and officially takes over on January 1, 2012. We would like to thank outgoing Alumni Association President Joe Pepek for all the hard work he has put in over the last year. |
